ハードディスクの中を捜索していたら、過去に書いた文章がいろいろと出てきました。なにせかなり以前に書いた文章なので、ときどき時代と合わない表現など出てきますが、今読んでみるとなんとなく面白かったので、こちらで公開

（一）ジャンルマニアのこと

世の中に音楽の好きな人は、たくさんいます。 もちろん、私の周りにもいます。私の周りのほとんどの人が音楽好きと言っても過言ではありません。むしろ音楽に関心がない人の方がめずらしいくらいです。これはたぶん、あなたの周りも同じなのではではないでしょうか？

しかし、音楽にも様々なジャンルがあるようにの、音楽好きにも色々な人がいます。

ロックが好きな人もいればジャズが好きな人もいますし、クラシックが好きな人もいるかもしれません。まあ、これはジャンルの話ですが、音楽が好き、という度合いにも人それぞれ、いろいろあって、朝から晩まで頭の中は音楽のことばかりという人もいますし、音楽といえば、テレビやラジオから流れてくるヒット曲をなんとなく聴く程度、という人もいます（もちろんこういう人達も、決して音楽が嫌いというわけではないのです）。

さて、そんな中でここでとりあげようと思っているのは、いわゆる「マニア」と呼ばれている人たちのことです。

音楽好きの中には、ある特定のジャンルやアーティスト（またはグループ、バンド）にものすごく詳しい人たちがいます。

バンドであれば、そのバンドのメンバーの名前はもちろん好きな食べ物から、なかにはお母さんの名前まで知っている人までいます。とにかくそのバンドのことなら何でも知っている、または知りたいと思っているような人たちのことです（もちろんこれは、そのバンドやアーティストが大好きだという気持ちからくる場合ほほえましくもあります）。

こういう趣向の矛先は、バンドやそのバンドのメンバーのことに向かう場合もありますが、ある特定の音楽形態（つまりジャンル）に向かう場合もあります。

そうすると、そういう人達はハードロックマニアになったり、パンクマニアになったり、ロカビリーマニアになったり、クラシックマニアになったりします。、おそらく在りとあらゆるジャンルの音楽にこういうマニアは存在するでしょう。

こういったマニアの人達によくある特徴として、自身がマニアであるジャンルの音楽以外は認めない、というものがあります。これは、そのマニアが「一人前のマニア」に成長する過程を考えれば、ある程度しょうがないことにも思えますが、音楽というものがただ単にリズムとメロディの組み合わせでしかないことを考えると、非常に気の毒なことでもあります。

なぜなら、ジャンルにかかわらずグッドミュージックは存在するのに、常にそのジャンルの中の感性に縛られているために、そのジャンル以外の音楽の良さがわからなくなっているからです。

しかし多くの「ジャンルマニア」は、自分の信じているジャンルの音楽だけで、実は十分に満足しています。これはこれでいいのでしょうが、このマニアたちが、音楽的に無垢な人に関わることでこの趣向がその人に伝染することがあります。

音楽的に無垢な人は、全てのジャンルの良い音楽に対してすばらしいと感じる可能性があります（これこそ実は、音楽を楽しむ上での理想的な状態なのかも・・）。この可能性が、ジャンルマニアに影響されるとドンドン低くなってしまうことがあるのです。

つまりジャンルマニアに影響されることによって、ある音楽に感動したということを、そのジャンルのせいだと思ってしまうのです。

音楽的な経験の学習が、その人の音楽的感覚を偏らせてしまうことはよくあることです。しかし、様々な音楽、いわゆる「音楽」を楽しむのにこういった偏った感覚は邪魔になります（ただし、そのジャンルに関しては心ゆくまで楽しめるでしょう）。結局、気に入ったジャンルの音楽しか聴けなくなってしまうのです。

まあ、これはただ単にタイプの問題で、どちらが良いという問題ではないのですが、私自身はいろんなタイプの音楽が好きなので、例えばロックとかパンクとかしか聴かない、とか言ってるひとがいると、クラシックなんかにもいい曲があるのになあ、などと思ってしまいます。

とはいえ、やはり自分が良いと思った音楽が、その人にとってベストであるのはもちろん言うまでもありませんが・・。

(1) About genre enthusiasts

There are many people in the world who like music. Of course, I am also around. It is no exaggeration to say that most people around me like music. Rather, it is rare for people who are not interested in music. Maybe this is the same around you? However, just as there are various genres of music, there are various people who like music. Some people like rock, some people like jazz, and some people like classical music. Well, this is a genre story, but there are various degrees of love for music, and some people think of music from morning till night, and when it comes to music, TV and radio. Some people just listen to the hit songs that come from (of course, these people don't hate music at all). By the way, the ones I'm thinking of talking about here are the so-called "maniacs". Some music lovers are extremely familiar with a particular genre or artist (or group or band). In the case of a band, there are people who know the names of the members of the band, of course, their favorite foods, and even the names of their mothers. People who know or want to know anything about the band anyway (of course this can be a smile if it comes from the feeling that they love the band or artist). The brunt of these tastes can be towards the band or its members, but it can also be towards a particular musical form (or genre). Then they become hard rock enthusiasts, punk rock enthusiasts, rockabilly enthusiasts, and classic enthusiasts. Perhaps there are such enthusiasts in all genres of music. A common feature of these enthusiasts is that they only accept music in genres that they are enthusiasts with. This seems to be unavoidable to some extent considering the process by which the enthusiast grows into a "full-fledged enthusiast", but considering that music is merely a combination of rhythm and melody, it is very It's also a pity. The reason is that although good music exists regardless of genre, it is always tied to the sensibilities of that genre, so it is difficult to understand the goodness of music outside that genre. However, many "genre enthusiasts" are actually fully satisfied with the genre of music they believe in. This is fine, but when these enthusiasts get involved with a musically innocent person, this taste can be transmitted to that person. Musically innocent people can find it great for all genres of good music (which may actually be the ideal way to enjoy music ...). This possibility can be lowered if influenced by genre enthusiasts. In other words, being influenced by a genre enthusiast makes me think that it is because of that genre that I was impressed by a certain music. Learning a musical experience often biases a person's musical sensibilities. However, this biased sensation can get in the way of enjoying a variety of music, the so-called "music" (although you can enjoy the genre to your heart's content). After all, you can only listen to the genre of music you like. Well, this is just a type issue, not a question of which one is better, but I personally like different types of music, so if someone says that they only listen to rock or punk, for example, it's classical. I wonder if there is any good song.
